Lunch Times
We are fortunate to be supported by Fruit in Schools and KidsCan. These support agencies are greatly appreciated – they allow us to ensure children are well nourished and able to learn. Parents, we encourage you to provide children with healthy lunch every day – we want to ensure we promote healthy food choices and we do not permit students to consume ‘sugary’ drinks or sweets at school.
For the first 10 minutes of lunch time, students are asked to remain seated in the designated area while they eat their lunch. This is to encourage all students to develop good habits and to help address littering that can take place when students move around the school while eating.
