FAQs About Attendance Dues

Attendance dues are a legal charge, not a donation. They are set by the Proprietor to cover property-related costs.

The Proprietor is Celebration Trust, which owns the school on behalf of the church. The Proprietor maintains the Special Character of the school and provides facilities, while the School Board is responsible for their maintenance.

Attendance dues were originally set in 1997 at $500 plus GST and include rebates for families with more than one child.

Since 1997, the school has grown significantly—from 37 students and limited facilities to a modern campus including additional classrooms, a hall, and expanded grounds. Current expenditure includes lease payments and funding for major developments such as the $1.2 million rebuild of Block K and future stages.

The government does not fund building development at our school.

Yes. Following the 2023 announcement of new building developments, dues increased in 2024 to $800 (Years 1–8) and $1000 (Years 9–13).

Rebated rates are available at $650 (primary) and $750 (secondary) for families who require support.

If you require a rebate, please email
heartofthenorth@hotmail.com. Family rebates remain in place.

The Proprietor submits an audited report annually to the Ministry of Education. This report is public and available through the Board of Trustees.
